F2F Eat at Home

Farm2Family's “F2F” business is focused on growing organic vegetables and berries while creating healthy eat at home meals. Re-connecting the farmer and the family!

Micro Organic Practiced Farming:
We focus on putting into practice, raised grow beds and high density planting methods to our small scale (less than 2 acres) market farm. Harvesting organic quality vegetables and berries for our weekly farmers markets. Growing in a recognized organic practice framework suggested by the Canadian Organic Growers.

Eat at Home:
We build a unique “Farm too Family” connection by harvesting daily from our own organic vegetable farm. Providing weekly choices of home-style gourmet cooked meals. Buying from other local farmers within 200Km and promoting a re-use, recycle and return policy that helps reduce packaging waste.

Connecting us:
Communicating one on one with our family members, through phone calls and visits to our blog site. Daily updates on our blog from Albert and Chef August.

Eat at Home

Produce from the farm not sold at "Farmer Markets" or for "Home Box" are prepared for cooking. Cooking is scheduled to promote "What's in season", cooking only as the demand drives the success of the "Ready Meal" delivered program. A "Ready Meal" includes main entree, matching side dishes, fresh picked salad and organic bread, all delivered ready to eat. Cooking in a local commercial kitchen provides the tools to produce the volume needed quickly for the week.
The weekly menu will consist of 4 new main entrees, side dishes, fresh soup and other in seasonal kitchen made foods. Creating healthy meals and serving fresh or frozen in single portions or served ready for entertaining. Understanding the eating habits of our Family Members and coordinating cooking to their needs.
Promoting the food quality via web blogs and web videos allows our Family Members to watch the chef cook and share the meal flavours, aromas and ingredients. F2F is focused on delivering quality foods and timely service, but it starts with the home cook.

Growing eco-sensitive fresh foods and creating healthy meals for our community families.
